This board is a dream to paddle due to its fuller curve and plan shape. The nose is pulled in slightly to give it a more performance feel but the volume is kept near the chest to allow for east paddling.

The “bump” just in front of the fins drastically reduces the grip in the tail, making the board less stable and much more maneuverable. It spins on a sixpence !! Bring that trailing foot forward and turn the speed up with parallel planing !!

This board has a beautiful natural curve which gives it amazing flow and super speed. The Ramen comes with a side bowl of single concave to a double and a
dash of deep Vee in the tail. This gives the board flow from rail to rail. These noodles will definitely spice up your life!

CONSTRUCTION POLYURETHANE/POLYESTER

Polyurethane blank with polyester resin is the most widely used construction for surfboards and has been for years. Recently polyester resin has become stronger and more ultraviolet stable which means the boards last longer and stay white even when exposed to strong sunlight on surf trips.

At Shibui surfboards we use a resin called Isophthalic which is the best polyester resin on the market, your board will stay whiter for longer. The polyurethane blanks we use are from US Blanks which supply all the top brands worldwide, they're strong and light. Shibui surfboards are built from the best materials out there, we do not cut corners on quality, if need advice please contact us.
